This National Apprenticeship Week (3-7 February 2020), award-winning bus company Go North East is celebrating its engineering apprentices that help keep the wheels moving on its 700-strong fleet of buses.

The bus company is rolling out its unique ‘Air Filtering Bus’ to help tackle pollution in Newcastle and Gateshead and will be deployed to rotate across a variety of routes in the area from Summer 2020.
From 26 January, the X-lines X21 service will be improved to run every 15 minutes between Durham, Chester-le-Street and Newcastle.
