Go North East, the region’s largest bus operator, has invested £3million into 13 new, clean, safe and super comfy buses for its express X1 service that runs between Easington Lane and Newcastle, serving Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton-le-Spring, Shiney Row, Washington Galleries, Wrekenton and Gateshead.
Go North East, the region’s largest bus operator, has put disposable face coverings on its buses for its drivers to issue, as part of NEbus’ ‘Face Covering Awareness Week’, from 28 September until 4 October.
The North East’s bus operators, working with the local authorities, have come together to highlight the importance of wearing a face covering on public transport.
