Bus drivers and support teams to don ‘fa-boo-lous’ fancy dress this Halloween weekend

Go North East is encouraging its hardworking bus drivers and support teams to wear fancy dress this Halloween weekend.

The region’s largest bus company is hoping the activity will put smiles on the faces of customers by having some fun in what we know are becoming challenging times for many.

Last year, there was every outfit imaginable and it went down a treat with customers, with selfies shared right across social media.

Martijn Gilbert, managing director at Go North East, said: “We know these are challenging times for our colleagues and customers alike, especially with increasing congestion on the roads and labour shortages affecting many sectors, so we’re hoping to lift spirits and put smiles on faces – please join us in having some fun this Halloween weekend.”
