Changes to a small number of services during lockdown

Almost all our services are running to their normal timetables, so we’re here when you need us during the national lockdown. However, we are making minor changes to a small number of evening and seasonal services which are not required during the lockdown.

Any service not listed below will be running to its normal timetable.


Angel 21 and Night Bus N21 from Friday 6 November

  • The Night Bus N21 service will not run.
  • The Friday and Saturday 11.42pm Angel 21 journey from Chester-le-Street to Newcastle will not run.

AD122 Hadrian’s Wall Country Bus from Friday 6 November

  • The AD122 Winter weekend timetable will be postponed until further notice.


X66 from Monday 9 November

  • There will be some changes during off-peak times with some journeys not running, though there will still be a frequent service to ensure you can travel safely.

Service Q3 from Monday 9 November

  • The following Monday to Friday journeys will not run:
    • 6.03pm from Great Park
    • 7.09pm from Wallsend
    • 8.10pm from Great Park
    • 8.56pm from St Peter’s
    • 9.36pm from Great Park
    • 10.26pm from St Peter’s
  • The following Saturday journeys will not run:
    • 6.03pm from Great Park
    • 7.26pm from St Peter’s
    • 8.06pm from Great Park
    • 8.56pm from St Peter’s
    • 9.36pm from Great Park
    • 10.26pm from St Peter’s
