Changes to V9, 19, X39 and 309 from 8 January

There will be a small number of changes to our V9, 19, X39 and 309 services from 8 January 2017.


Venture V9

  • Journeys before 8.30am Monday-Friday are retimed up to 5 minutes earlier. This will improve reliability, and offer better connections for Consett Academy.

Service 19

  • To improve access in the local area and offer new travel opportunities, service 19 will additionally serve Earsdon Road in Shiremoor.
  • Unfortunately, due to low use, the service will no longer run via Horton Drive in Cramlington. Any customers travelling from this area are advised to use alternative stops on Durham Road.
  • There will be some small changes to the timetable to accommodate these route amendments, and to overcome increasing traffic congestion around Cobalt and Silverlink.

Cobalt Clipper 309 and X39

  • There will be some small changes to the times of some journeys between 6pm and 8pm to improve reliability.
  • Journeys on service 309 and X39 which currently commence at Silverlink North are revised to start at the first stop on Quicksilver Way, near to Village Hotel.
