Loop 93 & 94

  • To better match frequency with the number of passengers travelling, this service will be revised to run every 20 minutes.
  • Buses will continue to run between Gateshead and Team Valley up to every 10 minutes at peak times.
  • We have been informed that the weight limit on Stoneygate Lane bridge is going to be changed soon, meaning buses will no longer be able to use this bridge. Therefore services 93 and 94 will no longer be able to serve Sunderland Road near Mareburn Crescent, Stoneygate Lane or the Industrial area on Abbotsford Road. Buses will instead run direct along Felling bypass to and from Heworth Interchange. This also means service 94A via Friars Goose will no longer be able to run and will run as a standard service 94.
  • Service 93 will now depart from stand C at Gateshead Interchange.
  • Service 94 will now depart from stand A at Gateshead Interchange.
