Service changes from 3 November 2019

Shotley Bridge

Working in partnership with Durham County Council, there will be improvements to services around Shotley Bridge.

Service V9

  • Will run via Elm Park, Medomsley Edge and Ebchester Hill, offering new transport links for these areas.
  • View new timetable


Services X5 and X15 

  • These routes will be extended from Consett to Shotley Bridge, serving Genesis Way, Church Road, Snow's Green Road, Rosedale Avenue and St Cuthbert's Avenue. 
  • Service X5 will run clockwise and service X15 will run anti-clockwise around this loop of Shotley Bridge. 
  • There will be morning and evening journeys for commuters, as well as journeys during the day to improve access to local shops and facilities.

Red Arrows X1

  • This service will now additionally set down at St Mary's Place in Newcastle City Centre, improving access to the northern end of the CIty. 
  • There are no other changes to the route or timetable of this service.
