Contactless payments have just got a whole lot easier for Go North East customers with the introduction of ‘Tap On, Tap Off’ on further bus routes.
Contactless payments have just got a whole lot easier for Go North East customers with the introduction of ‘Tap On, Tap Off’ on further bus routes.
From today, Go North East has introduced luxury coaches on its premium X10 express route that runs between Middlesbrough and Newcastle via the A19, serving Stockton, Norton, Billingham, Peterlee, Dalton Park, Heworth and Gateshead.
Ahead of National Apprenticeship Week (8 – 14 February 2021), award-winning bus company Go North East is celebrating its engineering apprentices who help keep the wheels moving on over 600 buses.
From Monday 15 February, Durham Bus Station will be closed to allow demolition and redevelopment work to begin. Whilst the bus station is closed, a range of new bus stops will be introduced on North Road and at Millburngate.
Colleagues at Go North East, the region’s largest bus company, will be marking Time to Talk Day today, Thursday 4 February.
Frequent buses across the region, plus a dedicated bus stop at Centre for Life and shuttle buses to Nightingale Hospital.
Colleagues at Go North East will be marking LGBT+ History Month throughout February with a range of activities.
Go North East, the region’s largest bus operator, working in partnership with Nexus, has added two additional shuttle bus services to further improve public transport links to the vaccination centre at the NHS Nightingale Hospital North East at the Sunderland International Innovation Centre.
As part of Global Community Engagement Day, Go North East is also celebrating the day by looking back at everything they have done over the last 12 months with a fantastic video and hosting a live Q&A on Facebook Live.
This Thursday (28 January) is Global Community Engagement Day, a day when organisations are encouraged to reflect on how they can better engage with the communities they serve.
Go North East has today launched one of the UK’s first dedicated vaccination shuttle bus services, which serves the NHS Nightingale Hospital North East in the Sunderland International Innovation Centre, near to the Nissan factory.
To help lighten the mood across the region, Go North East’s drivers and support teams dressed as colourfully as possible to help lift the spirits of colleagues and customers.
Around 175,000 journeys are made on Go North East bus services every day to travel around this wonderful region. Travelling to work or education, to visit friends and family, to have a night out, or to visit one of the region's many tourist and leisure attractions.
